IMPLEMENT INITIAL TOURISM MODEL 

We were on ground to continue to support and serve the community, community partners and service providers in this region.

Between 2021 and today, Ec(h)o secured a LEADER grant
to fund a Project Manager and additional resources.

Through co-creation the Ec(h)o concept has evolved, resulting in a clear plan of action.

The next steps are about building on current momentum of attracting small group planners, supporting service providers, and realizing a future of sustainable tourism.

APPROACH

IMMERSION AND DIVERGENCE

Create concept communication materials - rather than focus on the tangible elements that quickly loose relevance.

Through continued community development, together we will advanced the communities ideas into an ideology.

Develop a system through cooperation and unity they will drive a stronger community that all seeks a respectful tourism.

Use Ec(h)o as the launch point and catalyst for the projects discoveries and outcomes.

Ec(h)o was established during the first phase of the project. They have become known in the region as a network of service providers in the area of Poros and Troizinia-Methana who volunteer their time and experience to promote sustainable practices while focusing on small group tourism.

Ec(h)o’s commitment is to the individuals, businesses and governance within the community.

Generate the Ec(h)o narrative

A tool for LEADER Project Manager and individual advocates - vocabulary to vernacular.

Engage services providers to increase awareness of Ec(h)o network, celebrate success in developing small group, sustainable tourism, and expanding the circle of trust

Targeted towards early adopter of like minded service providers who have expressed interest in sustainable practices or are already implementing sustainable practices (even if unknowingly)

Intended to clarify who Ec(h)o is at this time and will be adapted as it’s narrative and objectives change
